I have been playing Miniture Wargames for about 10 years now. I first got into Warhammer Fantasy through my brother who started playing about 20 years ago. It was like an addiction to me when i got in and I find that the hobby is very satifying from start to finish. Over the years I have been into Kings of War as well and have dabbled into other types of games as well.

I am married to my beautiful wife Melissa since 2006 and have a daughter named Lila born in 2008, and a son named Alex born in 2011. They are 3 of the few things more important to me than gaming.

I also follow alot of college sports, in particular Football. I am a huge fan of The Ohio State University. My perfect idea of a great day is to spend the morning gaming, the afternoon watching OSU Football with my family and friends, and the evening hanging out with all those close to me.

Hello everyone personally I am a casual gamer who mainly enjoys playing games in Andrew’s basement. I don’t have an extensive gaming background, but I do love to “play” Warhammer Fantasy. I got involved back in 6thedition, where I did a majority of my gaming and to tell you the truth, I didn’t really do more than dabble in the game during 7thedition.

High Elves are and have always been my primary army, mostly because I really love the fluff. Although in 8th edition, the only thing I really good at with them is being tabled. Andrew just plays so much more than I do. As you may guess, with my low win percentage as of late, I am in no way a power gamer. This is because almost all of my lists are built completely around fluff.

I went to my first Adepticon in April of 2011, Andrew had tried to get me to go for some time. I had a great time, and although it wasn’t my first tournament, it was my first major tournament. It has me excited enough that I am trying to up my game and go to more tournaments this year and in the future.

As I am just rejoining the hobby, I have to say I really enjoy the 8thedition rules as a whole. I never was into the whole modeling and painting aspect of the hobby before 8thedition, but it has me so excited I want to start for the first time. My downfall like most beginners in modeling and painting - is patience.

Anyway, I am happy to have you visit the site and of course I hope you enjoy the show.

Originally from Michigan I now reside in Memphis (that's Tennessee for the geographically challenged).  Growing up I was into board game and action figures (No D&D in my origin story).  When I hit my teens I got into deeper board games and started to understand the social aspects of gaming.  This all changed one day when I stumbled onto a magazine add for Star Wars Miniature Battles by West End Games.  That started my obsession with collecting and painting miniatures for tabletop war gaming.

After college I moved to Southern California and started frequenting Brookhurst Hobbies. The Friday night gaming group was heavily invested in Warhammer Fantasy Battles, 5th edition, and I instantly fell in love with the miniatures and background.  Being a big fan of the Hobbit I chose Wood Elves for my first army and the rest as they say is history.  Over the years I've developed a passion for large armies and love to play in epic sized mass battles, especially sieges!.  I've been a tournament regular for a number of years and I'm always ready to talk about the hobby!  Now with the destruction of Warhammer I've moved on to playing Kings of War full time.  Counter Charge is the spiritual successor of Mantic Radio and we look forward to being your podcast for all things Kings of War.

Anyway, I am happy to have you visit the site and of course I hope you enjoy the show.
