Memorial Day weekend Potpourri

First off on behalf of all of us at Ohiohammer I would like to thank all our veterans past, present and future for doing everything that they have done, will do, or are willing to do for our country.  Also, we would like to remind everyone to be safe, don’t drink and drive and don’t text and drive.  Your family and friends want to enjoy you living.

So I really don’t have a full topic for today.  And with this weekend being Memorial day weekend in the US, I doubt I will give alot of thinking power to Warhammer or gaming this weekend as a whole.  However, I realized there are half a dozen little things that I want to mention, or show off.

First off, It has been a good while since I put up photos of the Ogres that I took to Adepticon.  And I did ask Alex Gonzales to score them for me to know where to improve my modeling/painting.  I got a 23!  The display board was a bit big to put in the light box… but here are the minis.

The yehtees in the second picture I was particularly impressed with the way they turned out.  Which is sad, as they got what I considered a ‘Rush job’ getting all four done in five hours….

Hmm lets see, what else…

The Ohiohammer RnR channel is up on youtube.  And RnR is now a video media!  I will be releasing new RnR casts every sunday.  And trying to do an occasional video review and release them on wednesdays.  And I should be able to get the Dark-Age review us this week!

Kickstarter has continued to feel like an addiction.  After Zombicide continued to leach money out of my wallet with add on goals, I have vowed to stay far away from kickstarter… Then, Mantic Games, and Studio Mcvey both launch kickstarters today… ARRGGGHHHH.  I’m sure I will lose the will power duel and buy into both games.

I’m sure there is more, but the relaxation of the weekend, cook outs, and good food is too much to resist.  But please everyone be safe!
