After seeing some of the amazingly done armies at Adepticon, and some talks with Rob Phaneuf. He started talking about Hastings’ theory of 10,000 hours of painting to be good at painting. I thought this as a great idea for a blog post. Then I started crunching numbers to see exactly how long it would take. It is an immense amount of time, if you commit to 2 hours a day, I would finish somewhere around the beginning of the year 2026. While I’d love to be that great a painter, that’s a long freaking time. I decided to set a much more realistic goal in 1,000 hours of painting. Perhaps after that, I’ll move on to the 10,000, I’ll have to see how much I hate it after I finish the first thousand.
Here the guys are back again unvailing a New Contest for Adepticon 2013 VIG Passes! They also talk with ETC Team America Member Matt Cassidy. He is also host of the WHF Podcaast Bragging rights.
